Wellness Program

What is Wellness Program?

A wellness program is an employer-sponsored initiative designed to support and improve the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees. Programmes may include health screenings, fitness subsidies, mental health resources, smoking cessation support, nutrition counselling, stress management workshops, and ergonomic assessments. Wellness programmes aim to reduce healthcare costs, decrease absenteeism, improve productivity, and enhance employee satisfaction. Effective programmes are voluntary, inclusive, data-informed, and integrated into the broader organisational culture rather than treated as standalone perks.
