Sensitivity Training

What is Sensitivity Training?

Sensitivity training is a form of group training designed to increase participants’ awareness of their own attitudes, biases, and behaviours and how these affect others in the workplace. It aims to improve interpersonal skills, build empathy, and foster a more inclusive work environment. Topics commonly addressed include cultural awareness, unconscious bias, communication styles, and respect for individual differences. Sensitivity training may be delivered as part of broader diversity and inclusion initiatives, management development programmes, or in response to specific workplace incidents that require improved understanding among team members.
