What is Offshoring?

Offshoring is the practice of relocating business processes or functions to a different country, typically to reduce costs or access specialised talent. Unlike outsourcing, which involves contracting work to a third party, offshoring may involve establishing the organisation’s own operations abroad. Common offshored functions include manufacturing, IT services, customer support, and back-office HR operations.
