What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a web feed format that allows users to receive automatic updates when new content is published on a website. In HR and recruitment, RSS feeds can be used to syndicate job postings across multiple platforms, distribute company news and blog content, and allow candidates to subscribe to job alerts in specific categories. While social media has reduced the general use of RSS, it remains a useful tool for automating content distribution and ensuring that career site updates reach aggregators and job boards efficiently.
