One-Way Interviews
What is One-Way Interviews?
One-way interviews, also known as asynchronous video interviews, are a screening method where candidates record video responses to pre-set questions on their own time. Recruiters review the recordings later, allowing them to assess a large number of candidates efficiently without the scheduling constraints of live interviews. One-way interviews are commonly used in the early stages of the hiring process to evaluate communication skills, cultural fit, and basic qualifications. While they offer convenience and consistency, organisations should be mindful of candidate experience and potential bias in evaluation.
