Executive Compensation

What is Executive Compensation?

Executive compensation refers to the total pay package provided to senior leaders of an organisation, typically including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, benefits, and perquisites. Executive pay is designed to attract and retain top leadership talent, align executive interests with shareholder value, and incentivise long-term strategic performance. Components may include stock options, restricted stock units, deferred compensation, supplemental retirement plans, and severance arrangements. Executive compensation is subject to regulatory disclosure requirements and is typically overseen by the board of directors’ compensation committee.
