What is Bullying?

Workplace bullying is repeated, unreasonable behaviour directed towards an employee that creates a risk to health and safety. It can include verbal abuse, intimidation, humiliation, exclusion from workplace activities, or the deliberate undermining of a person’s work performance. Unlike a single incident of conflict, bullying involves a pattern of behaviour over time. Employers have a duty of care to provide a safe working environment and should implement anti-bullying policies, training, and clear reporting procedures to address and prevent such conduct.
